Jarrah     Eucalyptus Marginata

Jarrah, Australian hardwood, has a truly rich mahogany colour and is beautifully grained, which is often straight but can exhibit a wavy interlocking feature. It has a reputation as versatile and hardwearing in an extensive span of interior and exterior uses. This timber emits a charm making it irresistible to furniture makers. Jarrah is only found in the South Western region of Western Australia and grows up to 130 feet tall with a trunk over 9 feet in diameter. 

With a Janka rating of 8.5 this is a very durable timber suitable for all forms of joinery projects to flooring and decking.
